I won't be able to participate but I'll definitely come watch and lend a helping hand to any TMOers! Offer always stands, I'm only 30 minutes from the track so if any TMO members need a place to stay overnight, my home is always open. Just send me a message.

I'm still on the entry list, but ran into some issues today. Here's hoping I can toss something together.

Nah, I
Did I see your car on the rollback Sunday afternoon? Sure hope not.....
Haha, thankfully not, I've been avoiding that breakdown bug, which is the reason behind my stupid moustache. Wade Boggs famously ate chicken, I'm growing a stupid moustache :D. Ran it out with A7's way past their prime, so I did my best hot ice skating with all that power and weight through all of the challenges that the TT fam had to deal with.

Good to hear. Given the rollback was doin' its thang between 5 and 6, it was hard to see exactly what car they were loading. All I could make out was white car, big wing, similar silhouette to an S550.

Weather was, IMO, pretty spectacular - it got warm in the afternoon (low 80s), but not stoopid hot, and the wind held off until very late in the day. Between giving rides (out of 6 total sessions, I had a passenger in 4 of them), driving the pacecar, and helping fix the track surface , it was rather busy. Granted, not as busy when I'm the RD.

It's been a metric shiznit-ton of fun getting more comfortable in my Boss 302. Enough that now I'm playing with using different gears/lines for some turns.....and seeing between 135-140mph right before braking @ T1 (depending on T9 exit speed and gear).

Having, literally, 200hp more then my former CMC car takes some time to adjust.

Yeah, good seeing you sitting instead of running around the whole time. That's also not too far away from what I was doing, hadn't been there since I changed my diff gearing, so much of the time was spent on shift or no shift and trying to re-train my ear. I think I did alright all said, 1:28.7, and on fresh tires I think I could expect another 2-3 seconds.

FWIW, I have deliberately avoided timing a single lap since returning to active track driving. Hell, I purposely haven't done any video recordings....as soon as I do, I'll try to figure out lap times.

It's bad enough I'm looking to perform a series of changes/upgrades....once I start timing my laps, it will all go to hell-in-a-handbasket.

:D
