Hey there, I’m in the Chicago suburbs. Looking to attend my first track day- so far I’ve only registered for Mohawk Track Experience at Gingerman Raceway in August. What’s the consensus on the July 30th revmatch event at Blackhawk farms? Might register for that if you guys recommend it for a novice.

I just did a Blackhawk HPDE day, they have a Wednesday series that's self hosted. 10/10 would recommend but it isn't the easiest track. It was my first time so completely manageable just make sure your brakes are in good shape and ease into turns 3-5 until you get a feel for it. Couple of people went off in that section but nothing serious. I also had a great instructor which helps. No experience w RevMatch.

Somehow I missed this post. I am in Oconomowoc and go to RA and BFH a bunch. Over 17 times this year.

When is the next one for you? Mine is MVP @ RA 14th and 15th.
Nice! I'm in New Berlin. The Milwaukee Mile on May 14th is next for me, then nothing currently scheduled until August 1st @ RA. Trying to do 1 in June and 1 in July. Definitely want to do BHF again bc it's only about an hour away from me & I really enjoyed it.

I had a Google sheet linked in an earlier post in here with events I knew about. I'll refresh that and people can edit it if they wish. Would be great to meet up!

Finally got the Mach1 in the car hauler with the new straps for tie down. Old car only needed 6 foot but Mach needed 10 foot with a little length to spare. I crossed the straps, for now, but the FP brackets might have enough clearance to go straight from bracket to floor D ring. I’ll experiment with placement after a few trial runs with the new set-up. This Mach1 is a much bigger car and the clearance is tighter than our retired NSX plus, of course, heavier. Tongue weight increased to 1,050 lbs from 550 lbs. Some of that is from the gas caddy which holds 25 gallons of fuel. This, getting the car in the hauler & situated, is a huge step in the process of getting the M1 out on the track.
Car has 1,500 miles on it and is at 28% oil life remaining so next step is an oil/filter change soon so fresh lubricants for hopefully soon track thrashing. So far, this car is enjoyable to own and drive. Thanks much to @TMSBOSS for the suggestions, photos and know how.

Thinking I'll be doing Blackhawk on Wednesday the 27th as long as nothing blows up at work. Monday August 1st will be my first time driving Road America. Lmk if anyone is going to either of those!

Excellent! Literally just dropped the ride off at MPC Northbrook for wheels tires & alignment. Looks like you'll get to witness me wringing a full 6/10ths out of them at BFR.
