Once stripped of suspension, drive train, wiring harness and electrical components; Is there any difference between these 2 chassis?

I ask because while searching for a salvage car to rebuilt with the remains of my wrecked GT I keep seeing sky-high auction bids for GTs while the 6 cyl. models are practically given away.
Instead of $6 - 10K, why shouldn't I consider the lesser model for 25% of that?
I have most all above parts from my wreck.

As far as I am aware, there isn't any difference in the metal between the two if you're just looking for a body. Wouldn't make financial sense for Ford on the production line for them to be different either.
It surely would be more efficient for production, I just wondered if there may be any structural differences for managing the additional torque & weight. Thought it best to confirm this before I try to build a GT from a base model chassis

If you didn't get a new body yet. Could always call the parts farm and see what they have. I believe Terry from Vorshlag got a stripped body for $2500 for his Trigger build.

I've looked at a few of their rolling chassis. While not a bad option for some, shipping to me nearly doubles the cost. I keep watching the salvage auctions hoping for something semi-local (under $1K to ship, or get myself) that might also have more of the other parts that I smashed up too.

I can confirm that the core support where the front sway bar bolts is different. I had to drill new holes to mount my used GT sway bar on the front of my '07 V6.

Thanks, that's interesting to know. Not a show stopper in an of itself but it does make one wonder what else could be different.
