@GAR944 just received pictures of the finished camber locks. If you have measurements and pay for shipping the guy who did mine will be willing to make a set for you.
I want one from AJ. I’ll give myself one chance with CF splitter. If I go off and damage it then good ol wood it is lol. Verus option looks more like a splitter extension than a splitter blade. But I know they have the data to back it up.
I'm happy you were able to finish your track day. I also want to echo the suggestion of cam cover upgrade. I know you haven't experienced issue with it yet, but may be worth looking into for prevention instead of reaction. I was black flagged two years in a row after the same sequence of...
Very sorry to hear that. I see your build thread and those camber arms have been known to break under track and sometimes regular driving. SPC, OEM, SPL are the only reliable options. More importantly I’m glad it didn’t bring harm to you while on track
everything looks great so far!One thing you may want to consider about the holes if it bothers you that much: Find a body shop you trust to fill/weld in the holes and paint over it. There was somebody in M6G who bought a GT500 non CFTP and had it done. They went with a GT4 wing. The job their...
I believe @OPMustang Tim has mentioned in the Facebook group a few months ago why it couldn’t be done or what would need to be done.I may be wrong but if you want less stress on the front then why not increase rear pad compound?
They just opened a new group for seat time for “Advanced Intermediate”. I just signed up for the April 12 event. They wanted me to get signed off for Advance with SCCA or FATT first. No issues with thatlook forward to meeting you there
Love the way the car looks. And I love the track. I too was there for the first time last November. I wish it wasn’t a 14 hour drive but it was worth it.
Yea. I had a shop install camber bolts without my knowledge. The bolt ended up slipping and cause the wheel to make contact with the strut. Left a nice silver ring on the inner barrel of the wheel. So now that I have been traumatized, I won’t rely on friction with the MCS struts I have now.
So I ordered new strut bolts a few weeks ago and I find out that Ford changed the designed to non splined bolts. Also for struts with elongated top bolt hole, I designed a camber lock in CAD. There is someone in one of the track FB group who is going to cut them for me. I’m sure you can design...
Here is another one to throw in the mix. I like This because You can simulate your shift points and compare between ratios and tire sizes on the same graphhttps://www.blocklayer.com/rpm-gear
@Tonymustang302 still working on the recap of the weekend? Lol. This inquiring mind wants to know.
I saw you guys got a session in but don’t know if the plan was only one unless I missed another session you guys were in. Hopefully no mechanical issues
