I did something similar this year. I had my new motor tuned for both Sunoco 100 (already in the tank) and then had it drained and tuned for E85. I bought a 52 gallon drum of Sunoco E85R and mixed one gallon with pump E75/E80 to get me close to E85. I tested using the simple graduated cylinder...
I have run through some of those sites over the years and there are a ton of cars like mine where 80K was invested and now they are trying to get back half of that and having no luck. You are correct....I need to find the right buyer. Hopefully someone is out there and we connect. I know it's a...
I am planning to list the car on BaT with a reserve when completed on the advice of a TMO member who sold an almost identical car to mine and who helped me with a splitter project. His car had a full cage installed where mine is a rollbar and added door bars. I have more upgrades in my car, more...
It's a gutted out track car.......can't imagine anyone wanting to try and get it back to legal but I guess it's possible with some work. Before it went full-track, I was able to get the 5,000 mile waiver and keep it on the street.

JDee,I shared my journey last year replacing a blown motor from 2021. I definitely did it on the cheap and it still cost me 10K paying someone to install it and get it tuned. After two years I finally got it back last July. After a couple shake down events I was ready for my big VIR adventure...
After losing my motor in 21 and finally getting it back on track this year, the original MT82/Exedy combo with 14K miles started to act up at VIR on Monday running with Chin. Couldn't get the 4-3 shift done without moving very slowly and I kept missing gears. Then it started popping out of gear...
Not so much a vibration but I felt the wheel pulling hard to the left side right before it failed. After inspecting the carcass again I found a huge gash right smack in the middle of the tire so it looks like you are correct. Cut the tire, lost air and then high G turn did the rest. No harm so I...
