Yeah...I'm on 315/30/R18's so overall diameter is about 26". My rear gear is a 3.70 so I will end up using 5th gear on some tracks. Eventually I'll probably change rear gears.

Have you driven the car with the TKX? I've got a TKX in my 1st gen mustang but haven't had a chance to drive the car yet. Curious why you chose the ratios you did? With a .62 final drive 5th gear is really just a highway/mpg gear? I went with a different ratio because I wanted a usable 5th gear...

    C'mon Ford, you're killing me

Sounds like it was mutual according to this article:https://www.hotcars.com/ken-block-bids-farewell-to-ford-and-his-1400-hp-hoonicorn/Sucks he had to give the Hoonicorn back to Ford, Ken said on several occasions it was his favorite car. I imagine he had to give the Hoonitruck back too that...

    Gen1 1967 LS7 Mustang

I made a short video updating the progress of the car and where the build is going. I want to get this thing on the track. I really wanted to have it at LS Fest West but now I've got a goal of getting to LS Fest East and Ford Fest.

The numbers are finally in, 2457lbs. Note: If you look in the bottom right corner of the photo you'll see a few things are missing but doing some quick math this is what I think will end up being the cars final race weight.Engine Oil = 15lbs Tranny Fluid = 5lbs Power Steering = 1lbs Brake...

Some more progress. Oil plumbing, intake, some wiring left to be done, the cage is about 50% done. It's slow but moving along. I'm hoping it's done for LS Fest or sooner. Who wants to see this thing on track? I DO! lol

    Vorshlag Camber Plate Question

If you can rotate your tires with a square setup leaving the max camber would probably work. If you do too much street driving depending on the tire you're running it can cord pretty quickly. Just keep an eye on it.

Hey Mad Hatter, Ford is building a new plant

Ford wants to be profitable...I wish they would stay in the US but our government needs to provide better motivation/incentive for companies to stay here in the US.

    Vorshlag Camber Plate Question

Are you trying to set max negative camber? One way to do this is to loosen the plates with the car in the air then lower the weight of the car back onto the wheels. This should force the plates to max negative.

Have the cleaned up the track at all or resurfaced recently? I've been out there twice and both times I got a busted windshield and tons of rock chips all over the car.

    R.I.P. Sabine Schmitz - Cancer at 51

I met her a few times when I was living in Germany and would do track days at the ring. 51 is too young. Condolences to her friends and family.

    Bonneville Salt Flats

Definitely the place to ask questions for suspension and brake setup. Can you post some pictures of the car? Rick might know some members that could offer you some good advice @VoodooBossRick, this is my brother posting this by the way.Adam

Maybe my favorite angle. Once we get the small spoiler on the rear and delete the rear bumper she will look even better. 315mm rears look good
