Yessir, I do in fact have it installed. I went with the higher volume GT500 Water pump as well. Thanks for thinking on it with me.

S550 Brakes - Swapping Street and Track

I swap the pads (G-Locs) and the front rotors out as well and leave them sitting until track prep time. I just couldn't stand the noise of the cold brakes on the street, and I'm also probably a bit over-protective of my expensive track rotors and sleep better when they are sitting on the shelf...

    S197 The Blue Marlin

Ran the afternoon/night event at COTA w/Edge Addicts Friday night.(The link here shows the 1st pic in a burst. Click fwd a few for a couple cooler pics) https://www.photomotiononline.com/imageSelect/?imageID=578921Ambient temps were 100+ in the afternoon. I am not sure what it was after...

    S197 The Blue Marlin

I haven't updated in a while. Will soon post of summary of what I did and where we are at.Meanwhile, it took some idiot on a Reddit post to tell me, just Google your VIN, and pics of the damage before you got it are probably online. So, yeah, never thought to try anything that obvious. So...

    S197 Track Cyclone (Sold)

Fellow TX S197, you've come to the right place. Look forward to hearing how the brake upgrade goes when you get to it.

    Anyone looked into TR-3160 upgrades?

What oils have you decided to run in your rebuild? What weight were you running that you believe was too heavy that you think contributed to wear?

    S197 First Fun Car

Did you make choice on rotors? I have a Stoptech kit w/14" 2 pc front rotors which I replaced recently. All I can really attest to is YES they are expensive. Whether they are worth it however, I've just not been able to make time to get the car prepped and to the track this past year, so no...

The Winter....errr, Spring Coyote Cooling project

Can someone tell me what the thread pitch is on that freeze plug? My trial and error trying to find that adapter has come up bupkus, and I don't really trust the fit it had when I was testing fit in the old True Value plumbing aisle. It's NPT right?

    The demise of my Mustang

So....about that new Torsen.... Too soon??? LOL JK! Sorry for your anguish but glad you're OK. Your build thread will live for eternity and continue to help me with my build. And unfortunately, this is a part of it and will happen to all of us if we put enough laps in at 9/10ths+...

    Oil Pressure Sensor

What is the consensus on the best place to pick up oil temps with these setups? Will the 90 like Rod did remove it enough from flow to significantly lower its temp reading? Would putting it in the pan w/an adapter to the plug like 1 of these be better at getting you usable data...

    S197 Stangra DIB GT

This is great info and makes much more sense to me in Blue. Today was the day I was supposed to dream and mock up how I could box in my airflow. Thanks to your detailed write up, I am now just having a beer and a staring at while considering whether all that needs to be undertaken "While I'm...

The Winter....errr, Spring Coyote Cooling project

Ok, so here’s the current plan and the current questions…subject to change at ANY moment.I’m going to throw in @67GTA ‘s used Mishmoto kit, will put some new fittings on it and add the Mishi inline filter. Logic (or lack thereof) was: I haven’t had real gauges on it so don’t even know...

The Winter....errr, Spring Coyote Cooling project

@67GTA I sent you a PM if you're interested in getting that out of your parts bin, I'd take it. Otherwise, I think I figure out a 12AN set up on my own, rather than buy the Mishi kit new. Just let me know if you still have it and that's interesting to you. Thx!!!

The Winter....errr, Spring Coyote Cooling project

Ok, back to it. What's the general opinion on water pumps and thermostats?? I don't see any reason not to blow for and install a higher flow pump to go with the big radiator while it's all apart. Is the FRPP Gen 2 pump the best option (PN M-8501-M52A)? Anyone know if it bolts up simply?As...

Road Atlanta - Jun 18-19 (Jzilla)

I went and watched the Petit last November, and this track is now (even more) firm on my Must-Do list. It's a long way away for me, but hopefully I can make a trip out there this fall or next Spring. The sim and TV don't do the elevation change any justice.Hope to hear some impressions...
