Very warm in Massachusetts today so I used my 20 pound stone on the Weber.550 degrees with a nice slow ramp up to that temp.Pepperoni, onion, tomato, red peppers, mozzarella, shredded parm and some basil.
I’m back with some July 4th babybacks.
It was warm in Massachusetts so we went simple, ribs, potatoes on the grill, onions with salt pepper butter and maple syrup roasted on the grill (wrapped individual) and a salad.
Here’s the important part.

It contains silicon dioxide, SI02, supposed to add some level of hardness or protection. Not the same fisheye inducing silicone but none of it’s any good for the body shop.
McGuire’s is usually decent stuff and they are late to this SI02 party of spray on hose off shine adders/protectants. Heard...

I put spicer/Ford Performance aluminum one piece in, significantly more NVH, it transfers lots of noise but it’s perfectly acceptable in my opinion and the “thump” that was present with the stocker is gone.
My 3000 mile 2 piece shaft clunked mildly since day 1.I believe the carrier bearing rubber is designed for the v6 secretary car, soft and allows all sorts of wind up.I have similar mods on mine.Anxious to see what you find.

This was a 17 pound brisket I served yesterday. Smoked %for 12 hours and rested for 5.
Sliced at 150 degrees. Served with homemade Mac &cheese, baked beans salad and jalapeño cornbread.
