Are you replying to my comment and suggesting I look at the way I setup my splitter for an answer to the problem? LOL. My primary concern was the location of the primary mounts compared to mine and how that may interfere with the brake ducts. Even with where my primary mounts are situated, I had...
Agreed. AJ's is about the only 3D front splitter out there. The rest are flat and maybe include tunnels. I'm relying on the factory GT350 underbody tunnels as they're bigger than I'd be allowed in my class so my setup if just a large front splitter extension essentially.
Flyhalf's solution seems to be a great one for and he mounts the splitter mounts more inboard than my setup does. This may be why he also suggests outer support rods along with forward support rods similar to AJ Hartman's configuration. On a GT350 though it almost looks like Seed Italia's setup...
First event in the books. Finished 9th overall on PAX out of 140 drivers on a mid 30 second course where I dont think I got to full throttle once.Still figuring out these Yokohamas. Tried to treat them like my Kumho V730's and ran them at 28 psi. They were gripped up, weren't rolling over too...
My units are not actual PA mounts but rather fully custom built in my garage. There is rubber hose that's been split to line the opening to prevent unwanted chafing.
From what I understand they just started to crack the TCU for the DCT in the GT500 so that should be a possibility. I as well would love DCT reponse paired with Voodoo noises, but the pockets and free time aren't plentiful enough for me to be the guinea pig here.
The APR unit is less noticeable in person, double so on my car with the black stripes, but I've had numerous people talk to me about the new wing for 10-15 minutes before I bring up the APR cover and they finally notice it.For removing the factory spoiler I use one of those inflatable bags...
We had two spec mustang class cars show up at our latest autocross and did great. One a Bullit who changed his 3.73 gears to 3.55 and anotehr was a GT/CS convertible. The Bullit ended up finishing only about a second behind my car on a course where the fast time of the day was in the 35's. We...
The pro is specifically designed to work with a Hans if you'd like, but as you identified though, with just using it for autocross it's not likely to ever have a severe impact posing a concern. It also has some crash mitigation system built into it allowing the shoulder to rotate like a 3 point...
I am fully aware. I was all set to struggle through another year with the 3 points, but my buddy upgraded his GT500 to a watson bolt in roll bar and harnesses so sold me this 1 year old harness for less than half price. Too good of a deal to pass up and will still work great for autocross. Only...
This is the Schroth Quickfit pro for 2018+ mustangs. They changes the buckles in the Gen2 cars slightly so there's a 2015-2018 set of harnesses too. Both connections on the perimeter of the car utilize the floor mount for the factory belts. You just remove the bolt that anchors the factory belt...
Appreciate the photos and honest feedback. Hopefully they see this and take efforts to improve their product given they're selling to a retail audience now. APR, Archetype, AJ Hartman, and Verus are all in that $450 - $500 range and I'd expect nothing but exceptional carbon quality from them...
