Got new GT500 aluminum valve covers for my Gen 1 2012 GT.. What else do i need?

Without any customization of either part (out-of-the-box fit), I'm pretty sure the raised bosses on top of the prototype part will keep the coil cover from sitting down. Here's a picture of a production one and it's smooth within the shallow recess for the coil cover in addition to having the...

Got new GT500 aluminum valve covers for my Gen 1 2012 GT.. What else do i need?

Very cool to have a prototype part, just a shame you can't run the Boss blue coil covers. I was also looking forward to seeing how those looked on top of the aluminum valve covers.

Got new GT500 aluminum valve covers for my Gen 1 2012 GT.. What else do i need?

If they handed you the M-6067-M52S box as it ships, it has the gaskets already installed with the necessary hardware included. When I asked them previously, the FRPP hotline said the stock dipstick should work with FR3Z-6754-B (I asked because I was planning to use the matching GT500 oil pan...

Rear end gear ratios - anyone have a calculator spread sheet for looking at speeds?

https://legacypic.uk/transmission/graph.php? You can open the link up in a few tabs if you want to compare different gears simultaneously.

This brake kit seems like a no brainer, right?

The 'dust shields' SVE include are designed to have the same purpose as the OEM GT500 'dust shields' - just a small flap of sheet metal to protect the rubber tie rod boot from brake heat. You can see them at the bottom-left of the product picture collage. I think it would be beneficial to retain...

    S550 Which spring length?

Says right on their website that it has adjustable positions for ride height, so the response from them seems strange.

    S550 Which spring length?

Not sure that it will solve your problem entirely, but you're running the shock top mounts in the shortest of the two available positions which looks to give you a ride height of at least 1" less from the picture.

Replacement rear swaybar drop links for a Laguna Seca?

Eibach makes these drop links for their kits. I ordered them separately from them by calling many years ago. They're sized for their 25mm rear bar, but given the way the cap screws on and the fact the bushing is just stock that's cut to size, I don't see why you couldn't make this work as an option.

S197 Understanding Wiring Harness Part Numbers

The prefix will always be different when buying individual parts. As mentioned above, Z is the catalog code for Ford Service Parts. The tag or molded-in part number will have a different code for the 'Design Responsibility Center', such as Engine design, Chassis design, Electrical design, etc...

Can You ID These Ford Gen 1 Coyote Cams?

The year suffix in the part number is the model year for when the new part goes into service. B = 2011. So a standard GT in 2012 will have BR3 cams from 2011 since the design didn't change. When the Boss came out with the different camshafts for the 2012 Model Year, the new parts started with...

Suspension bushing design between OEM rubber and solid spherical???

Easiest way to get to it is with a crowfoot at 90 degrees offset so it doesn't change the torque value on the wrench (or re-adjust the torque setting from the longer lever-arm), but I've had the BMR mount for so long I've forgotten if the OEM one was more difficult. The manual does call for the...
