Anyone have experience with this setup? 15" floating rotors, 6 pistion, monoblock calipers.

Anyone notice that the rear PB is hollow and contains what sounds like steel shot? What's if for - NVH, left/right weigh biasing going around turns ???
Auto mfg non bolt reuse in 'safety critical applications' is CYA IMO. Rod bolts, main cap studs, bolts, can be reused many times when torqued properly. Been doing it for years. Same with suspension fasteners and never experienced a failure. My cynical side thinks this is a NHTSA conspiracy like...
I think this is exactly what has happened to the pads. Now is sounds like metal grinding metal when I press on the brakes when they are cold. Sort of a sickening sound...
I'll just replace the pads to the DTC's and leave the rotors alone.

Have DBA 4000 on front and rear with HP+ pads. These pads and rotors work pretty well during lenghty track sessions but they rotors are getting absolutly trashed. Can I or should I have them turned, replace pads, reburnish and go again. Or is it not advised to turn slotted/drilled rotors...
I have a two point roller jack on my 4 post lift. I pickup the lower A-arms near the tires to raise the front end with no problems. I use the pinch welds at the back to raise the entire rear end. I wouldn't lift the car from the axle tubes unless you can lift both sides simultaneously.
Thanks for the responses everyone. When searching I found some conflicting threads regarding centering rings, spacers, etc. and wanted to ask explicitly as to the need for spacers. I was pretty sure the centering rings were not necessary but, figured if they were I could always purchase them...
I know some of you are successfully running 18"x9.5" Enkei's (PF01) on your Boss. Question, did you modify (grind) material off of the OEM Brembo calipers for clearance or do you run spacers? A local store basically refuses to sell to me because Enkei will not gaurantee the fit on a Mustang...
