    Gen2 - Spun a bearing

I’m using that Moroso pan and it works well. But if the 500 pan kit existed when I built my motor I would have seriously considered it. I don’t know much about it but the high volume oil pump sounds like a good investment.I used my existing gen 2 block but I had to block off the oil jets to...

Harsh ride on Steeda linear springs?

The clunking is probably the sway bar end links. Those make noise if they aren't real tight.

    Very Uneven Brakepads

That happened after one track day? Then I'd say your pad compound is not aggressive enough and you're getting them too hot. The leading edge side of the pad gets much hotter than the trailing side. You'll probably notice the paint or metal is discolored on that end too.My car with PP Brembos...

Oil Cooler Setup, Thoughts and Questions

The Harrop kit mounts really well and works well enough for me (after upgrading the fittings and lines to -12, this makes a huge difference), it’s not quite adequate to push for 20 minutes straight in the AZ heat but a cool down lap thrown in is all it takes to get it back under control.

Well, I finally have an answer to what happened in my 2015 Mustang GT on the road course

The aluminum valve covers 100% solved this for me. I don’t run a catch can the driver side anymore. I run with 200tw tires so no experience beyond that level of grip.

    What restraints?

I use Schroth Profi 3x2 six points with Sparco Circuit and EVO seats in my car. They come with enough slack to accommodate anybody. I'm happy with them.

    GT350 Motor Swap

If block is salvageable, I vote getting that cleaned up and rebuilt as a Voodoo or CPC 5.2. Can't tell what kind of damage the head has or if having the valve seats/guides repaired is cost effective on these.I rebuilt my 5.0 in my garage in 2020. Had Duffee Motorsports clean up the block and...

Reducing GT350R Heat Soak with E85 and a CAI?

E85 will help cooling with port injection, albeit minimally. Direct injection engines benefit more.I think even with E85 and the best intake possible you're still going to have this issue. Ambient temps increase throughout the day. The GT350 intake is pretty good as is.

2016 Ford Mustang GT w/Performance Pack

If you’re getting oil leaking out the valve cover onto the headers then I don’t think the baffling is your problem, especially on the driver side. The only way you can have a leak would be the main gasket that seals it to the head, or the seals for the spark plug holes, dipstick, VCT solenoids...

S550 2017 Mustang GT Track Build

They pretty similar in my opinion. I stuck with the BMR springs as I believe the single rate spring makes more sense. Neither are as stiff as I thought they would be. Car is still totally streetable. The Steeda springs make an annoying rattle sound when the spring coils bind over bumps which I...

Are Ford Performance Track Dampers enough for Steeda Dual Rate Springs?

I have used the FP track dampers with both the Steeda dual rate and BMR handling springs. I swapped the Steeda springs for the BMRs when I had the suspension all apart to install spherical bearings and aluminum subframe bushings because I had read more feedback about them. The main difference I...

Continental Tire Extreme Contact Force Impressions and Feedback

I had 295/30R19s and I was happy enough with the grip and wear but I experienced some chunks on the outer tread blocks after 4 events, one tire in particular was chunked down to the cords despite the tire only being about 50% worn. They were pretty narrow and were pinched significantly on 11"...

    My motor blew up......now what?

I am using -12 lines with the Setrab 19-SPT76-22-180-22 adapter. The ports are close together so you need to clock the flats on the fittings right to get it to work - a flat on one adapter hex needs to be facing the other port to give enough clearance for the other hex to rotate.Yes there is a...

    Rotor Help

Looks good to me. Some street driving on the way home will probably make them look a bit more uniform. If your car is stopping how you expect and you aren't getting any shuddering then I wouldn't change a thing.
