2011 shop manual shows 41 lb-ft for the banjo bolts on the 4-pot Brembo, so the same for the 6-pot sounds reasonable. Manual says to use new copper washers.

Started doing my swap today, however it looks like my Russell stainless lines are not going to work. They look very specific for the S197 calipers.

What stainless lines do I need to order for this application. S550 correct? Stick with Russell or switch to something better.

Goodridge 12367 G-Stop Ss Braided Brake Line Kit https://a.co/d/j2YyRxC. Ordered. Thank you!
Sorry I just saw these posts. The Russels will work with dormant 13940 banjo bolts. See 1/2 way down this page.

Confirmed the front caliper bolts are 85lbs with blue lock thread.

Rear caliper bolts... same? 85lbs?

Also reading some things about 40lbs on the bango bolts? Thoughts?
I made a torque specs reference Word doc in this thread strait from the repair manual ( second post down) . There are also other torque related posted in that thread.

Stock rear caliper states 76 ft/lbs. I'm thinking 85 wouldn't make a difference if you already tightened down... The caliper guide pin bolts are 24 ft/lb

Yes 41 ft/lb on the banjo's. Careful not to over tighten the brake line fittings. They are only 150 in/lbs = 12.5 ft/lb

S550 6pot upgrade done. Had to order new Goodrich lines to make them fit. Going to be trying GLOC 12 front and rear. Going with both the same all around to try and stop the nose dive I was getting on my ST47 and 4 pot

Boy are they HUGE! Seems to fit on my 18" wheels, they just need a spacer.

YUP!! That is what I have on mine!! I got my calipers for under $100 from some dude who upgraded to the 6pGT350 set. As an s195 at #3200 they are insane!! I'm running Hawk pads. direct bolt on with gt500 rotors.

It is strange that the Goodrich lines didn't fit. I used the kit for the 2013 Shelby GT500 when I swapped out my 4 piston Brembo set up for the S550 6 piston Brembo's. They fit fine. The rear lines are the same for both set ups. The front have different fittings to fit the calipers.

Also, I have run G-Loc R8, R10, and R12 on the rear with different combinations of R10, R12, and R16 on the front. I have not noticed any difference in brake dive with pad compound changes. The only thing that made a difference in brake dive was suspension changes for me.

Nope 100% I was wrong and I fixed the post. Got them mixed up. The Russell lines did not work. The Goodrich gt500 lines worked perfectly!

Okay, that makes more sense. Either way glad you got it worked out.
Just got done installing mine. R6 Pads and Goodridge ss lines. Bought duralast gt500 rotors from autozone. Calipers on rock auto. Everything else came from @OPMustang Tim . He even has spacers for the calipers to center correctly over the rotors.

Update:

Took the car to Blackhawk farms on Wed. This track is VERY demanding on brakes. You just don't give the car/brakes time to cool down when going hard. For those of you that have run this track you know what I mean. There are 3 very hard braking zones with speeds of around 100. Not Road America speeds however 100 can still get you into trouble.

Pedal travel is a bit different. The guys on here are correct. Seems to be about an inch to a inch and a half of dead space. Once the bite is felt its a nice easy push to get more and more. Unlike the 4 pots, they went from nothing to 100% in that same space on the pedal. That could have been in sync with my ST47's as well.

One major item it improved is nose dive. My springs are 450/250 and with the ST47 4pot the car hammered the nose into the ground on hard braking. Totally eliminating trail braking and just over all confidence in the car. Combined with the extra braking capability managed to shave 2 full secs off my time @ Blackhawk Farms.

So if your reading this and wondering if this upgrade was a good idea and worth it......yep, buy them tomorrow.
