Nawp....no good.
Side forces are accelerated and said force is below where the piston skirt can resist it so racking would be increased, not decreased.
The rod is too short, the piston will spend less time at TDC and BDC filling hurting efficiency.
Reciprocating weight is increased and that's never a good thing.
Rod angle is horrendous.
I see no pros and all cons....but then, maybe I'm not smart enough to recognize them.
Somebody straighten me out.

Yup, looks like a lot of negatives. But you'd think the designers were aware of all of this and addressed them. That will be the interesting part.

Yup, looks like a lot of negatives. But you'd think the designers were aware of all of this and addressed them. That will be the interesting part.
