Hi, I had a rock go in between my caliper and due to a lever effect, looks like I stripped the first few threads of the caliper where bolt HB-11 goes. Is this safe to drill out and thread agian with a 1mm larger bolt??

I tried putting Timeserts in my stripped caliper last spring, and didn't get them in straight.
Guess I can't drill a hole and run a tap in straight.
So I'm thinking I've got a caliper for core exchange some day.
If you do this yourself, be very careful to drill and tap straight.
