Well the Valentines venison has been marinating for 2 days... because of work schedules and Stupid Bowl we are celebrating tonite.. 2 degrees outside this morning so slow cook and broil finish.. seasoned & roasted potatoes, sautéed onions & mushrooms.. salad with homemade dressing... she is so worth it..

Taco bar at camp a couple weeks ago.

Smoked county style ribs. I use a foil pan with about 1/2 of water to catch the drippings. It also helps keep everything moist. All the ribs got a quick bath before they hit the plate.

cheddar brats
smoked brats
Vidalia onions
homemade currywurst sauce
baked beans (not just a can dump)
deviled egg potato salad
angel food cake with strawberries & cool whip for afters..

It may be simple, but it's still a summer feast in my book!!.................BTW, Me and Hon went thru 2 watermelons ( to be honest, they were on the small side) this weekend.....She managed to save some for Son if He comes by today.
