This is common. I usually get these via email. They offer trade in value with caveats. its just a way of staying in contact and possible encouraging a trade in. The catch is usually the price for the other/new vehicle. I usually finance outside ford so they have no idea what my payments are if any.
Its better than a "Cold Call", but not much.

I've received a few of these types of mailings. No plans to trade my car in though, and I'm skeptical about what type of deal they'd really offer me anyway. Just another marketing strategy.

Just a " Sales Gimmick " ( actually there are numerous ones in that note ) noticed it is only available at McFarland Ford. If Ford sends something out it will usually come directly to your home , with a Ford Corporate special rebate or something. No biggie, just another way to maybe get some foot traffic. I found during the 31 years I was in the business that referrals were the best way to get Sales -----hence , major reason I hung around with my fellow racers , ha.

I still have contacts at the company I worked for and can get Mustang Maniacs ( say wanting a Mach 1, etc. ) to the right person.

Yeah I figured as much, as NOBODY is getting an extra 7600$ on top of KBB. I told my wife I wouldn’t sell it for 100k.

There is a huge rebate for a specific Ecoboost option package and then more for financing , so the amount might be there ( you can get 2.9 financing and 1000 back on all 2020 Mustangs right now, if I remember correctly ). So you wander down there to trade in your Mustang GT and they tell you ---------- we have an Ecoboost auto to sell you for your six speed GT.

Needless to say, it is not a Ford Factory Authorized deal , but they may have ordered a few too many 4 poppers and when you get there you will find you could have had a V8 --- not!!

I get this stuff all the time, right along with all the Urgent Warnings that my warranty is about to expire, they seem especially concerned about the 2010 Fusion, that I don't own anymore.

I got something like that from a Toyota dealer in a nearby town a while back.....They were begging me to trade-in my 2008 Tacoma because the demand was so great.....For a 2008 Tacoma??????????........

Forgot to drop you a note to say "thanks !" for setting up my buddy in NC with a new F150.

They have sponsored the Fast Fords and Mustang Roundup ( www.racemph.com ) since the beginning. That event with Ford Engineers coming in from Dearborn and racing with us is an event that is just pure Mustang Mania! They also sponsor a similar event for Vipers , so I tell all my Trackrat friends to call me and I will hook them up with the right person. One Ford Store has become the #1 Mustang store in Nebraska and that has alot to do with TMO friends, so they work very hard for members here.

FYI When spotting for the drop zone from that location. Watch out for your ripcord handle when standing up. It makes for a spectacular exit when your chute hits the ramp on the way out of the plane. Have the video, did not make the mistake personally.

No margin for error.
He's shown me a few vids of some heavy drops. It looked & sounded like a freight train rolling by.
Made me pucker up a bit and I'm on the ground ! LOL

Ive heard of that problem.
I have a video of a successful drop.
Cant figure out how to get it to post.
