Never going to happen. If they're going to add lanes to I5 it'll be for some affordable speed limit scam.

He was right about people driving slower in the fast lane. One of my pet peeves are people in this state who park their butt in the fast lane driving 60-65 MPH while everyone is passing them on the right. They have no concept of the line of cars stacking up behind them or the cars that are passing them. Either that or they just don't give a damn.

I've read where other states have started programs to educate and remind the public about moving over for faster traffic. It will never happen here.

I thought it was an interesting way to get people to notice your proposal. Even if it got passed the traffic would most likely govern the speeds anyway.

I'm not holding my breath on this one. They really don't need this as everyone drives between 80-100 MPH on that stretch anyway. . Bonus points for trying though.
