Wish I could have been there to watch you guys, always fun to take a trip back to when I became super interested in racing watching the Lake Afton Grand Prix in Kansas. So cool there is a place to keep running these classic machines and I love your car!!

Champcar again this weekend at Hallett. Today did not start out so well. We broke a left rear axle about an hour and half in. Roughly five hours later, a trip to the junkyard on an hour and half away we managed to regroup and get the car back on the track. We finished. Tomorrow will be better…🤞

If and when I retire after next year, I'd love to find a vintage team that needs crew. About 8 races per year would be about right.
Maybe the big boys in SVRA. All of us small time fellows have to do everything ourselves.

When you retire Blacksheep , see if you can find a team that needs another retired Old Fart to co-drive their car, ha! I am at the age where I can still pedal reasonably quick, but I have to let everyone else do the work. I am very good at going to get the beer, though!

I’ll co drive with you.

......paint it??? Right now the word " Sinister " seems very appropriate, and it looks " Scary" Fast!!
Haha, It just needs to be completed body wise. I think it kind of looks cool but not the look I am going for, I never intended on bringing it to any significant event but I was over confident from Laguna so I said screw it. Haha..

Buttonwillow really uncovered how aero challenged it is (duh, I knew that and anyone can by looking at the car.. haha) , so I have some development work there. I was also struggling to put power down but I think it could be due to the rear gear (too much, 4.44) as well as the locker. Also me shifting too damn much lol. I did a few rear suspension geometry changes that may have helped a touch but I think with a torsen and less gear it should helpthe drivability off corners. May need some more pedal map work too (drive by wire) . All in all fun weekend and I learned a lot about the car (also how much I need more seat time in it). The car definitely has some speed in it, some development and seat time will get me there

That was my fastest lap and first hot lap on ho ho's so be easy on me, had only driven on toyo r888 until this point :D
