Just went back to a Hyper Single in my 2018 Race car (2017 MT-82/driveline) and went for a test spin. Clutch does seem to engage higher than the previous well broken in Hyper Twin but seems fine, good feel for bite point. Went single to save the 1.6 lbs, LOL, rotating mass and all. 1st test this weekend at Mid Ohio and then to Watkins Glen for a race weekend. Maybe I will be able to complete one during my NASA rookie year.
I've had about 4 years on mine, I'm sure at some point I'm due to replace it, engagement is starting to creep down a bit but it still clamps down without complaint. I think I'll pull it and relegate it to spare duty this winter break (which honestly is just a couple weeks in AZ since that's prime track season)
