Holley also cooked up the Dominator for Ford Nascar racing.

That carb grew from 850 in NASCAR to 1150CFM in Pro Stock. It was kind of funny explaining that a carb was the weapon of choice since they metered better than fuel injection (at the time) finally electronic fuel injection solved most of those problems, but carbs held on for a very long time.
