Workshop manual states to remove 2 plastic front pins along with 8 lower panel pins, final step is to use "suitable tool" and release 8 hidden pin-type retainers. On the 2013 Boss, who has removed the rocker panel moulding and where are these hidden retainers?

The two, (2), black retaining pins are visible in the front wheel well. Then, there are (black) push pins along the bottom of the rocker panel in recessed areas. Once these are removed the hidden (white) clips are located about 1.0" below the top edge of the panel. You should lift the rocker panel up and away from the car as these hidden clips are attached to the panel in slots rather than holes. On the re-install, remove the white clips from the car and insert these in the rocker panel, line them up with the holes in the sheet metal and just tap them in place. Then re-install the remaining fasteners. You should replace all of the black fasteners as the ones on the bottom are one time only use.
