Hubs are steel. It's the knuckle they (and all the suspension members) bolt onto that's aluminum.Maybe I’m blind, but it appears to me that the wheel bearing hub is iron and not the aluminum?

No it’s not. I’m not talking about the knuckle. The GT350 bearing retainer hub is also aluminum. I know. I’ve had my whole car apart and replaced others before.
This is aluminum.
I removed everything from my car and modified it and weighed it all.
Of course the hub flange is steel, but the hub bolt retainer flange is aluminum.
The red highlighted area looks like iron

That component wouldn’t make sense being aluminum. I had mine out as well when I pushed in longer ARP studs and I recall it being steel.

Best in the 302S was 1:46.9 on sticker tires. I'm now four full seconds faster than that on 20-lap tires. And there is still more.Cool. How does that time compare to your 302S and 458 CH?
@treynor I was up there and stopped by. Met Ryan and checked out your car. Its beautiful...
Of course! That's just your first day in it! Looking forward to times at other tracks too...Where are you planning next? And there is still more.
For anyone who missed it in the lap time thread:Not gonna argue with you It's really great in person, and it's also FAST. That's a good combo!
Today was even better!
