Congrats and keep in mind that the best mod to go faster is tires, so I would concentrate on those first and a good set of wheels ( as wide as will fit ) is the perfect companion. Do upgrade your brake pads , put in some DOT 4 and get to the track ( after a safety tech on the Red Beast ) and let the other mods come as you find the ...................money, ha.

Order of mods:
Make it safe.
Make it stop better.
Make it turn better.
Make it accelerate better.
Repeat.
(Actually, "make it safe" should be at each step.)

Make sure the basic maintenance is up to date, get some good brake pads & do a full brake fluid flush, and get some good-wearing track day tires that don't overheat easily (Conti ExtremeContact Force is getting good reviews). Then get as much seat time as you can, and try to get ride-alongs with instructors.
