Depends on the standalone kit and how much of the OEM CANBUS/ssystem you end up keeping. IF you went with a typical standalone that replaces everything, you would lose OEM ABS. Supposedly the FP350S ABS unit can work on its own, tho. I think @Black Boss has done this conversion. I haven't done it myself - waiting on a buddy who is installing a standalone ECU + FPS350S ABS module to see how his works out.Contemplating a standalone ECU. It will. The trick will be getting the CAN template correct.Looking into Motec. Maybe it can just send the right CAN bus signal to the ABS and voila?! wishful thinking!

If you're going Motec, get ahold of Racetune (Frank Siharath) and he can answer that question. I was playing around with retrieving CAN data from the oem ecu to my dash and he was helpful in getting that sorted out for me.
