I remember reading something Sam Strano said a long time ago about steeda spherical bushing mounted atop the differential with a stock or polyurethane UCA yielding a good result without too much NVH.

Hey Rick - are you sure about the KB UCAs having problems? I know the Whitelines did - I was one of the unlucky SOBs who had the problems!

As for aftermarket UCAs binding, I have never heard of that. I wish the BMR or Steeda guys from the other forums could chime in with their experiences. I am running a Steeda poly UCA and adjustable mounting bracket and the diff whine became a little more pronounced at 75-80mph, but now that I have my Dynotech driveshaft, the noise has been completely eradicated (which is contrary to what I expected).

Oh, and I agree with people saying an aftermarket UCA makes a huge difference. Rear is much more planted, both in straight line acceleration and hard cornering. No negatives in my experience.

I know of at least one and saw it first hand and drove the Boss. The bearing came loose and created a bunch of noise in the car. I drove it and it sounded like something broke. When the bushing was replaced is was amazing how such a minor movement made a bunch of noise. KB was very quick to replace the part and their customer service was top notch.

Yeah, that looks like it could work…my next question is how do you get the stock rubber busing out?

From BMR, this looks promising.

That it does, and I would hope so at the projected almost 400 dollars, bet you would never have to worry about it breaking.
