Should I be concerned about the noise limit (I believe it is 90dB for this event) with my stock Boss?
I currently have the baffles removed from the side pipes so I am wondering if it would be worth it to put them back in. I assume the noise level is captured from the side otherwise I wouldn't worry about the small side pipes, but I definitely don't want to get black flagged.
If anyone has any experience running a stock (engine and exhaust) Boss or a close to stock 5.0 I would appreciate any feedback!

Thanks!
Ryan

Put the baffles back to make 90...I've busted 90 with 5/8" baffles.

Put the stock side pipe baffles back in last night and now it sounds like I'm driving a V6 Mustang! It's so lame, I can barely hear the engine now! Almost feels like a sleeper, except for the fact that it's an orange Boss... I bought the car with the baffles removed so I didn't realize how much of a difference the baffles/side pipes make, it's pretty incredible. Gonna be a long drive up there with such quiet exhaust, but it will be worth it, I can't wait for tomorrow!

It’s nice to be able to have that choice. For a lot of us it’s much more complicated to adjust sound levels. Chalk up another innovation for Ford.

For those looking to do a bit of homework before tomorrow watch the video below. This guy is flying. See everyone at the track tomorrow morning.

Pretty impressive for a street car.
