I swapped in the Boss 302 springs and ran my toe line. I posted side by side photos.

First off though, my car is sitting a quarter inch higher in the back now than before. It looks like the front dropped an eighth inch20200121_184331.jpg20200121_184323.jpg20200118_143645.jpg20200121_212757.jpg

Side by side photos of the coils are fun. Even though they arent linear by default, one must see that they are a lot more linear than the stock springs that came out, in addition to being shorter.20200121_162746.jpg20200121_162715.jpg20200118_145621.jpg

To finish off the thread, i actually measured the distance between the front coils of each spring.20200121_193513.jpg20200121_193527.jpg20200121_193530.jpg20200121_193532.jpg20200121_193536.jpg

My T4 (V6) car has to use the FP kit for that car, same thing, the ride height has not changed much at all, the FP kit for my 07 Shelby, dropped it about 1.5 inches. The way the springs are "beehived" you can't cut them to experiment either, and you can't change the spring perch because it sits on top of the axle, we're allowed to use an adjustable spring pocket, (weight jacker) but that requires cutting the pocket in the car which is a bit extreme. I'm looking for some performance springs that are the same diameter the full length, and possibly linear so I can butcher them up. In the meantime, I'm going to sub this thread.

OK so I did some digging today
the springs on the left are Hypercoil for the V6 car, the ones in the middle are the stock Gt500 springs and the ones on the right are Steedas (V6) The Hypercoils may have the advantage of being cut, the stock Gt500s I'll leave alone because they are original, the Steedas are beehive and can't be modified.

these are the FP springs on the Gt500, they lowered it about 1.5 inches over stock springs {in the pic above}

and these are FP springs that are in the suspension kit that we have to run, they didn't lower the car AT ALL, I tried the Hypercoils on the car and it didn't lower it either. Neither did the Steedas.
