Thanks. I believe you need to swap the entire front end, hood and fenders included. This was done to my car before I purchased it. I will say the fenders and doors don’t line up well, but for race car purposes it looks fine.
Update. I've buffed one quarter panel. Also installed the EPAS, engine, trans, some Koni Sports with Ford K? Springs, and begun the dreadful body harness wiring. There are a lot of grounds and approximately 16 miles of wiring that I don't think I need.I refreshed the engine with valve cover...
That's all I'm looking for; I just want to know I'll have a pedal to push on after a long straight. These calipers work well but they don't inspire confidence.
@captdistraction You mentioned anti knock-back springs for the s550 Brembo calipers. Can you share some more info; dimensions, spring weight, and where you had them made? Thanks.
SOS, I bought an S550 pedal assembly and I’m not sure how you possibly mated them to the S197. The pedal assembly and the curvature of the firewall are completely different. How did you do it?
Drivetrain purchased.Motor is from a 2014 F150 and looks very clean (on the inside). It’s receiving a new water pump, rear main seal, oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, and a few other maintenance items. The trans is a Hanlon stage 2 TR3650 with an exedy cerametallic clutch, lightened...
Thank you for sharing your insight before I installed my engine, I will be doing this.Question: would it not be simpler to just use a bolt through the fire wall with a nut on the inside to hold the pedal box?
Thanks for sharing, that's my fear with the 3650. What clutch are you using? As far as upgrading, you might give these guys a call. I've heard good things.

Agreed, it’s a lesser of two evils situation. A first gen F150 engine is rated at 380 crank, that’s not far off. I like that 3650 would live in 3rd and 4th and I wouldn’t have to fuss with 5th. I think it’s a waste to put a six speed in a race car. It’s a waste putting any of these in a race car...
