S197 3V What extra parts should I order now that I have to replace the front spoiler? Part number DR3Z-17626-BA

From what I've read here you are better off making a chin spoiler out of plywood and covering it in truck bed liner. The chin spoilers come off pretty much any time you go off track even a little. I wouldn't know from personal experience though as I run without one so far.

Srsly, leave my nitrogen tank alone

Probably a stupid question but how much difference does using nitrogen instead of air for tires really make?

    Exedy clutch

I meant was I using the wrong word when i said chatter and I think the answer is yes. I have no issues with engagement just transmission noise which is not annoying, just unusual sounding. I should probably say increased NVH instead.

    Exedy clutch

Im still in the process of breaking it in. I think the noise i'm talking about is just more transmission noise than im used to from the lightened flywheel it comes with. Everything ive read says its normal. Is chatter the wrong word?

    Exedy clutch

I recently lost my clutch at road atlanta and replaced it with an exedy hyper single based on the advice in this thread (it's mostly a track car). So far I'm very happy with it. Everything feels better at higher rpm. At low rpm it chatters like crazy though. Didn't know to expect that. Anyway...

    Electric cars... the cons

The problem with hydrogen fuel cell cars is primarily one of efficiency. Hydrogen fuel cells work by more or less turning hydrogen into electricity but it takes quite a bit of electricity to create the hydrogen in the first place via electrolysis and then you loose more energy in the hydrogen to...

    Electric cars... the cons

Good point. With regards to braking we have seen some improvement in the form of more cost effective ceramic brakes making their way into the consumer market on Porsches and such . I think cornering and braking though are being held back because the best way to improve that is by reducing...

    Electric cars... the cons

Another fun fact: Climate change is not some kind of apocalyptic threat. Its likely to do not much more than reduce economic growth between 2% and 5% over the next 80 years while projected growth over the next 80 years is something like 300% to 500%. Here's an article...

    C'mon Ford, you're killing me

I think it's more likely that Ken Blocks image, and vehicles like the hoonicorn no longer fit with Ford's current Eurocentric marketing strategy and goals. Ford is really making a big push to change their image abroad right now and from that perspective Ken's viral videos could be viewed as a...

    Electric cars... the cons

Hi, i've been lurking on this site for a couple months now and this is an odd place to make my first post but I simply can't resist throwing in my 2 cents. So here is my take on the subject. No one concerned about clean energy and the efficacy of electric vehicles in that pursuit has a leg to...
