Thanks guys. Good feedback. I live I Florida, so I don't have a lot of issues with cold weather. Maybe four times a year it will drop into the 30's in the AM, but is back in the 70's by 1:00.
The summer rated tires that the boss comes with are only good above 40 degrees, right? What happens to them if you have the car out below 40. I'm sure grip is effected, but will it damage the tires?
I agree. No chance of confusing the two years. I have a CO Boss and like the fact that CO is only for 2012 and that Ford only put it on the Boss, unlike the other available colors.
thanks guys, alot of good information here. I'll start checking into it, and look forward to posting about my first track experience. It will be nice to wind this Boss out a little bit without johnny law running me down :D
I live in the tampa bay area of Florida and have had my new boss since October. I have never taken a car out on at track before, but I am looking forward to getting started. can anyone help me out with some suggestions? I assume car clubs in the area offer track time, but I would like to hear...
I had the same problem and had my dealer look at it during scheduled maint. they have ordered a new master cylinder, claiming that it needed to be replaced. work happens this weekend along with the trackey software. i'll know after the work if they were right. any bets?
