I bought my first Mustang, a 1970 Mach1, in the mid 70's. That car had a 2bbl 351W with an FMX automatic and open diff in back. That car caught fire and was sold. I then had a 1976 Mustang II with the V6 and 4-speed. It was a very fun car, got decent gas mileage and was extremely reliable. I sold that to buy a 1968 Z-28 my friend owned. After I sold my car he told me "Dude I just rolled that car". Bummer. I wanted that car bad, it was very fast. Around 1981 I bought another 1970 Mach1, this one with a Boss 351C, Top-loader 4-spd and Detroit Locker 9" read end. That car was fun, beautiful and fast. I had it about 1-1/2 years before it was stolen 8^(.
I owned a whole slew of cars after that including a 455 4-spd Trans Am, a Lancer Evolution 8, a Viper GTS ACR Coupe and a 1996 Mystic Cobra before buying my current 1995 Cobra R in late 1996 which is #242 of 250. For several years I also owned actor Jason Priestley's retired #46 IMSA Grand Sports endurance road raced 1995 Cobra R #191 of 250. I sold that car to Ron Bramlett former owner of Mustang's Plus.
Around 25 years of experience driving Northern California tracks such as Laguna Seca, Sonoma and Thunderhill raceways.
