Thanks Bill! Just got the diffuser installed and got it all cleaned up. Headed to Nelson Ledges in a few weeks for my favorite event of the year, 944Fest. Yeah it’s a Porsche event haha.
I don’t k ow how to quote on here yet haha. Anyway, drove the car tonight and it did have a CEL. Not a big deal for me as it’s getting tuned soon but I’m guessing if I plugged the purge solenoid back in it would go away.
@BKBoss302 I just finished mine up. There are three lines coming from the evap canister. One is a vent and stays with the canister. The second comes from the fuel tank. It needs to be vented. I cut mine by the axle and left as is. Others have routed a hose up to the filler neck and terminated it...
It will get 11’s and 315’s. I’ll likely get a second set of wheels with slicks and keep the 10’s / 275’s for street driving. The car isn’t being built for competition at this point but I will check the rule book for NASA and GL as I can’t rule out doing some TT events.
Just finished up a fresh round of mods. Torsen diff w/ 3.73 gears. Whiteline rear UCA and swaybar. C2Aero side and rear splitters. Autometer dash pod with Boost (incoming), Wideband and Oil Press gauges. Need to dial in the alignment but pretty close to ready for Nelson Ledges.
Bump as I need to do mine as well. I was considering just running the two lines to each other and being done with it. Just bypassing the canister instead of deleting hoses etc.
Thanks Bill! I’ve put a lot of thought into the SC and THINK I have heat management sorted but am all ears. I’ve got a Mishimoto Rad, MMR Oil Cooler, CSX Intercooler, Meth Injection and Hood/Fender Vents. Regardless I appreciate your kind words and input!
