Yeah, I wasn't too worried with it being at the airport in Charlotte. It's dark, busy as hell, and half the time there is no one there to receive. Before anybody warns me, I've had my fun but realize it was a big risk. Having said that, I do fly to Orlando on occasion.Lots of GT's there to...
Oh I know my ass would've been cooked like them pads if anything real bad had happened. And I ain't out the woods yet. I still have to return it, and the rear rotors are a little scarred up.On the positive side however, I had a blast! I definitely learned some things, and love the track.This...
Thanks for the suggestion. I may not be a good driver, but I ain't too bright neither!!I have premium insurance on all my rentals. Lol
A wing and a prayer. Like I said, ain't too bright.
I totally agree. My only choice was ceramic. A semi metallic would have probably done better.
This has been a blast, and a great learning experience.
I have a locker at my customer's mill up here. I could see actually buying a set of mild race pads and swapping out before and after a weekend...
I live in Louisiana but have been working in North Carolina. I had to stay over this weekend and thought, let's see what's going on around me. Wouldn't you know it, NASA at CMP!Sounds like a great idea....Only my poor little rental car didn't think so!All I had to do was buy a helmet, and...
Okay. Hadn't even lifted the car yet. I'll see. I should be able to pull the transmission tonight. I'm heading out of town tomorrow and figured I'd at least order bolts while I'm setting in my hotel room. Along with figuring out what to do with my clutch!
Hey guysI'm about to pull my transmission and was looking over the service manual and see most of the driveshaft bolts are torque to yield. Just wondering if anyone has some ARP replacement numbers available. Otherwise, I guess I will just match them up individually. Thanks, Chris
Yeah, mostly stock 350. I gave him a quick run down of me and the car.
Stan - I'm curious of your same compound front and rear. Most seem to step down for the rear. You feel it was pretty balanced?
Maybe I'm not driving it hard enough, but I have yet to feel any abs or lock up.A little eye...
Hey guys.I'm in North Carolina again for work but had the day off. Me being the tourist I am, I went driving around Mooresville and stopped in at G LOC. After reading a few threads on compounds I was ready to get the R16 and R12 hoping to really get a boost in bite. When I asked Danny (the...
Dave - I suspect that's pretty close to spot on. I think I'm trying to be fast in and fast out a lot of the time.
Having the 280tw Bridgestones back on may be just what I need.
I was a good 4sec slower than with the cups and I didn't have as much confidence in the higher speed turns, but I feel...
