I do it before track weekends, which is just a generally good idea. About every 2 track days or so. I have no idea what the mileage is on mine between changes, but that's my guideline.
We will see. Confidence is a huge thing, too ;D I just love the way the car feels now, and if that translates into better lap times, well then that's the point!I have detailed GPS data of every lap I run, with all corner speeds I've run at Autobahn. Track conditions can play a factor...
Turn in is sharper and more immediate now - much more "point and shoot", with the vagueness all but gone now. Feels very precise and tight - it's a huge improvement.
Just installed my new stuff - here's some pics:The "P" Springs:18000-C ShocksMM Caster/Camber Plates and FR Jounce KitAnd installed! Better pics coming, these were just quick shots:Install wasn't too bad, and I had an alignment done after I finished. -2.5 camber is where I...
No need to counter this. A head to head test should suffice - equal conditions, same driver. Unless they have redefined physics, that "test" was self-congratulatory staged garbage.
The SCT update issue is turning into a mess. There are reports of several people doing the update and losing their tunes, motors boxed, etc. I was talking with Shaun from AED Tuesday, and I guess all the tuners are furious over this. Shaun told me he wouldn't sell another SCT tuner or tune...
Well, I'm a Midwest guy, so sure, location is a factor. But all things being equal, these days I tend to prefer NASA. Never said I wouldn't run SCCA if that was the only game in town - I was a member up until last year.
The PF01's arent bad, and pretty easy on rotors, compared to the Hawks. Price isn't TOO bad, I get them from Topbrakes.com. I'll likely get 2-3 track events out of the fronts.
Well, AI is one thing - isn't really a "spec" class per se. NASA has an GTS race class (German Touring Sportscars), and yet still has spec classes for BMW E30's and 3-series cars, various Porsches, etc. - so I don't see why they wouldn't.
My wife absolutely hates driving the Boss, which almost never happens. Says it ruins her spine for a day if she spends more than 10 minutes in it. She does, however, love driving our 2012 Wrangler Unlimited on Mickey Thompson MT's.
