You have the wheel sizes correct. I'm currently running Hankook RS3's in 265/35/18 and 285/35/18. Next season I'm going to use either BFG Rival's in 275/35/18 and 295/35/18 or Nitto NT01's in 275/40/18 and 305/35/18. Most likely the NT01's...
I had a set of MM plates and found they were just fine... since I track the car much more than the street, I just left my at about -2.5-3 degrees...obviously the simple way at the track is scribe them. When I changed to Cortex system, I also changed camber plates...again, I don't really monkey...
Yes NFSBoss...I still got the Boss....now that the CEL issues all seem to be resolved, it has run flawlessly the last several track outings...hitting my best times in this car on each venue with each event, now really debating whether to sell it or not, its humming along so nicely and I have way...
I'll be joining you all too...looks like a very fun group...for those of you worried about meeting 90-92db...I am running a stock exhaust with side pipes completely open...the time I had mine checked it was 88 something. And that was flat through the sound check area after turn 5, weather can...
Re: CEL - "random misfire" (recurring)Got a call from the dealer indicating that a "new service bulletin" just came out thataddressed the contacts issue....we will see...going to Laguna this thursday...will give it a bit of a test there.
Re: CEL - "random misfire" (recurring)Mine was actually built later...its serial #570...I got the car around October '11 after nealy 4 weeks transit from Detroit...I read your post before and thought that I should have had the later version...but perhaps not. Yes, not sure about this last...
Re: CEL - "random misfire" (recurring)Ahhhh yes, the SAGA continues...the ole CEL P010 s STILL not resolved (not previous post)...back to Ford again...grrrr
Re: CEL - "random misfire" (recurring)Cam position sensor falult saga: I have posted before about cam position sensors typically P010 codes. Potentially we have isolated the problem to no strain relief on the cam position sensor harness above the connector. One dealer (I've been to three...
Re: CEL - "random misfire" (recurring)it is possible I suppose, however as I mentioned, I know I have run down to a 1/4 or less at Laguna Seca and never occured.... and one of the times it had be tween 1/4 and half...wouldn't think that would be the case, but we'll keep it fuller there and...
Re: CEL - "random misfire" (recurring)thanks for the insight on the fuel.....this was not a reducion in cylinders...with gas pedal to floor...no rpms....just coasted a second or three and bang..you have throttle again...I have a shift light that is hardwired to tach and it went out completely...
Re: CEL - "random misfire" (recurring)The code throwing saga continues; last track day again coming up with P010 and P012 code repeatedly. Ahhh but this time a new quirk, for no particular reason the car while under acceleration and climbing a hill at Thunderhill turn 9, just quit...one time...
I cannot speak maybe as eloquently experienced as some previously discussed here. I currently have the "full" cortex system on my '12 302 LS. I tried the Eiback springs and sway bar set up initially, (will probably put them up for sale) but when a fella with the full watts link cortex system...
