Thanks for the info. That is surprisingly odd there were no takers in the EC-7RS from the Mustang crowd. It is a shame because although it is ~.5lb heavier than the VS-5RS, it is an improved upon classic design for APEX and is similar to other race-proven spoke designs. I was one of the 2 or 3...
Thanks for the update and info. Would you expect a group buy on the EC-7RS sizes when the production run does comes around? It seems I am not alone in that the first group buy had some missing sizes in the EC-7RS that caused us to hold off on participating on this great new design.
True, but the SM-10 is a flow formed wheel, not their forged Sprint line. I too am waiting on their 2nd batch that is supposed to have the 18x10" EC7RS size and group buy so a very valid question.Currently their site says "Availability 2022" for the size I am looking at, whereas before it was...
I got to the bottom of the story on the re-coding not available for vehicles 10years or older. The re-coding in this sense is the tumbler code for re-keying the lock cylinder, which is not held onto for vehicles older than 10 years. The dealership was able to erase the old keys and then program...
When I bought the 2007 Mustang used it only came with one key, and PATS needs two separately coded keys to add a third to the computer using the process outlined in the user manual. I knew I had to go through the dealership to erase old key codes and add two new coded keys to allow for the PATS...
You can buy the 4-piston Brembo set for around $700 new. The Brembo's use the same lines as the factory S197 calipers, and you would need to buy the 14" rotors. I can provide part numbers to buy new if you would like.
Yeah, I feel ya. I was hoping for something similar to what the EC7 GangUp did earlier this spring, too. Guess everyone is out of money at the end of summer. Something about track events costing money? :D I am going to hold out in hopes of a better APEX group buy next spring maybe.
I will have to pass. As much as these are tempting, I am going to hold out for 10.5" or 11" wide ones. Great set of wheels. Hope you find buyers for all of them!
