  1. fr500c rear complete 3.73 gears for sale

I see you're in NY. I'll be at Jersey in about 11 days. Any chance you'll be there. If so I may be willing to part with the cash for your axle assembly.
  2. Extended studs & spacers?

Not sure if this helps. But...I run extended studs and spacers on my 2012 just to help my wheels clear my front calipers and spacers on the rear simply for a wider track. They are the slip ons. I run 1/2" on the front and 1/4" on the rear with no issues.
  3. 4 Tracks 4 Months with a free day at VIR or NCCAR

Well I saw this a little late. I had planned to run Fall Fest but am booked up for the earlier months. I am going to be at Dominion next weekend if anyone wants to come by and visit me during the tropical storm while I'm on track.
  4. Motorcycle Racer Fired After Grabbing Competitor's Brake

I agree.I haven't had my bike in years but the last two I had was a '91 ZX7 and a 2002 GSXR 1000. We would run up and down the highway and back roads and while doing some spirited driving reach over and shut the other guys ignition key off.I'm surprised it took this long for someone to...
  5. H&R RSS Clubsport Coilovers

I'll comment so maybe others may benefit even though the OP made his decision. I replaced Koni SA and MM springs with the RSS kit. It is a huge improvement in performance and a great deal for the cost. The MM springs sat to low and were to soft. My car would bottom out occasionally on track...
  6. Should Cats be removed for track only cars?

Get rid of the cats and get the car tuned.I have long tubes on my 2012 with a catless H-pipe and stock mufflers. My car pretty much sounds stock, so just leave your stock mufflers on and noise levels won't be an issue.
  7. Heat cycle questions

Just take it easy your first time out with the tires. Next session pick up the pace and put the tires to use. Probably not as good as a "laboratory" controlled heat cycle but will work just fine for your bargain priced tires.
  8. Track tires - traveling to HPDE

Ive known guys that have driven on Toyo RA1's 5 hours to the track, run them in TT all weekend, and then drove 5 hours home. One guy I know did this for an entire season. Just get them shaved some if you are going to run them in the dry at the track. A new sets tread may squirm a little.
  9. 2018 HPDE Schedules Released - What are your plans?

Give SVT Cobra Mustang Club a look. They run an event at the end of April at VIR for 3 days, fri-sun, called Superfest. They have early sign up discounts, 4 25 minute sessions per day, and 4 different run groups. I've done this event 10 years in a row and always have great time.
