I loved growing up around Ford racing in the Shelby club. I’ve had some cool Fords but never a Mustang. I’ve waited four decades for this and I’m so glad I found a foxbody!
I always forget to figure in Madhatter's comments as I shut off all the " Nannies " and with them on it can cause more rapid rear brake pad usage. Good comment and something you and many others should consider. (see full post)
To be honest no. SRF is just set and forget it. I just change it at the start of the season. I know people who have used it for two seasons but that's a bit much.There is a reason way its so expensive per Liter! But it turns out cheaper then...
I went through rear pads quickly when using R8 G-locs and found going to R10s still gave me a staggered set up front to rear ( was using R18s in front ) and it may just be the simple case that the rears need to bump up to a bit more aggressive... (see full post)
Thanks for adding me, Im Greg here in New Jersey. I purchased a 19' GT350 from a local dealer. Eight days later I was at the New Jersey Motorsports Complex running in HPDE Novice school in my wifes BMW club. Awsome time and I am already signed up...
You can do alot with an 18 inch wheel and many folks are running 315s with cars like yours and there is no need to cut fenders or anything ---- just wheels with the right offset and some 25mm spacers up front. Some may have had to roll the... (see full post)
Hard to say, I did run the 615's for four years, the last year was too long. I run autocross only and very limited street mileage. 8-12 events a year. One place we run at is really hard on tires.
I only got two seasons out of the 660's...
The SoCal Trackrat is still not eligible for AARP membership , but the years are accumulating and he is getting close to being a Mature Mustang Maniac, ha! Actually, he is so darn young he can still look forward to another 25-30 years of burning...

One bright spot, 60 years of the Mustang, Ford handed out retro hats to all the teams.
