CO was my first choice for the car but I love blue Thank you.Best of luck on your next adventure...Grabber Blue is one of my favorite colors....CO rocks, of course.........
Yeah I know but at the moment is hard to get my hands on nice Apex wheels as production delaysMore wheel and tire and you will be moving up that list.
Nice write up!
yeah but still are doing there job just fineNice write up, those pads didn't look their best.
And my Apex SM-10 ET26 F ET52 R finally arrived. It's great to know that they are finally here. I hope the Fronts will fit on the OEM wheel hubs without issues and I'm still wondering if I should do 295/30 Zestino's or 305/30 Cup 2's or equivalent. Not a lot of 305's for cheap in Europe. Since I don't want to cut my Strut towers I guess 295/30 will be easier fit with the limited camber that I have.More wheel and tire and you will be moving up that list.
Nice write up!
It will take some time as still waiting on parts I think the car will be fully ready in April probably will schedule a track day mid/end of April not sure on dates yet. But will make sure to post as much details as possible. At that point I wonder if this will fit with my Steeda Camber Plates there is a good chance they won't but let's see. I will need the camber for the Apex wheels though so hopefully will fit. And if everything is ok track testing will show how the car is after everything. Literally can't wait for winter to end.oh wow! Its the same set I plan to get. Was hoping to place the order this year, but figured i am way off from needing them right now.
I look forward to your review.
are those the original control arms?I also have a problem since installing the Ohlins with annoying metal clicking over bumps looks like the reason is that spring seats don't fit properly and are grinding out the control arm:
Yeah I have seen this we did even it out but looks like my shop grinded out a bit too much from the control arms so now the seat is moving inside the hole which is not ideal. So I'm getting all sort of clicks and clunks. At that point I wonder if the Ohlins rears will work with OEM springs without the height adapters or the shocks will not handle well the higher ride height. Contacted Ohlins Sweeden as well looks like on the market there are two versions of the suspension FOS MR00 (which I have) and a revised kit for that issue FOS MR00S1 which is what Vorshlag are selling.are those the original control arms?
I know he said that in certain years you had to even out the lower control arm hole. Maybe you have to do the same with with yours. Im sure you've seen it but in case you havent, he points it out in the install photos on their site.
