To the 53's and beyondBarely dipped into the 54’s and new PB, but can’t help but feel bitter/sweet. This lap had a yellow flag for a stalled Rush in Grapevine, forcing a lift and coast through Cotton Corners. Sadly, this was the cleanest lap of the day. Not gonna dwell on it - back at it this Friday with a private track day and a 50 car limit.
Tom your driving is incredibly smooth for how fast that lap is. That really shows just how dialed you and that car are. Thanks man! Luckily your providing lots of motivation to keep pushing! To the 53's and beyond

I feel the same about several of the tracks in your neck of the woods. We need to start a foreign exchange driver program! That track is so awesome i wish i could come and drive it one day.
Tom, that might be one of the smoothest laps around CW13 I've ever seen. Congrats on the 1:53!Pretty happy with this one. Calling it the “redemption lap” after getting humbled by the Buttonwillow mud at the bottom of Phil Hill in December.

Thanks guys, very much appreciated. My kids will tell you that I'm constantly preaching "slow is smooth, smooth is fast". Works for the NAVY Seals, and very applicable to road course technique.Agree with Ewheels, it appeared to be slow because is was so smooth. That is the Smooth Jif Peanut Butter run of the month!!
With smoothness comes speed……not the other way around. Thanks guys, very much appreciated. My kids will tell you that I'm constantly preaching "slow is smooth, smooth is fast". Works for the NAVY Seals, and very applicable to road course technique.
They are doing some very nice cage work down there. "Fabman Approved". lol.
American Iron or ST3??.....or just being nice and loaning car for mock ups?
Not 100% sure on when or what class for WTW, but just felt like it was time for the next investment in safety. 138 flat out through T8 on Big Willow provided much of the motivationAmerican Iron or ST3??.....or just being nice and loaning car for mock ups?
Yeah, that'll do it, haha. Not 100% sure on when or what class for WTW, but just felt like it was time for the next investment in safety. 138 flat out through T8 on Big Willow provided much of the motivation
