If that's a Whiteline Watts linkage set up you have on it you should inspect the bell crank part on the diff. Not sure if that's the correct description. Its the part the two rods connect to on the diff cover, some call it a propeller. Anyway... (see full post)
So I needed to change out the TPMS sensors in my truck. I found this on E bay, and it worked pretty good. Back in the old days of 70, 60 and 50 series tires I could change tires using this and a couple of tire irons, these days, not so much.
It...
I rebuilt the rear in mine last summer complete with a Detroit True Track and 4.10 Ford Performance gears without removing it from the car. It can be done, but in hindsight it would have been easier and quicker to remove the whole housing...
With used DCTs starting to hit the parts markets, is this something worth pursuing? FPC noises with 100ms shifts. Building a Voodoo powered ‘33 FFR roadster and hung up on which transmission as I prefer not to shift a road car that’ll see...
Looks like you’re considering non-Ford Performance gear sets based on the ratios. The usual recommendation is to stick with the FP gears because aftermarket tend to whine or make more noise than the FP. The real reason for this is FP uses a...
Installed Girodisc rotors on the front for the beginning of the NASA season here in Utah. Metal artwork! Boy, that brake duct hose is embarrassing... (it's getting replaced as well!)
I'm in for seeing how many laps I can handle! Maybe we can do some kind of bet on this, x dollars says I can do 10 laps? But, I'd be happy just to get a ride around the block. I've been after a ride in any Ford GT since the car showed up in the... (see full post)
True, but you can still see some Ford sandwich plates for the gen1 in 10AN for sale, like a old booby trap waiting to blow something up.. I wish I had known about the Ford recommendation sooner 😭 . It was @Fabman who pointed it out to me after...
Last fall I ordered a set of new rear calipers from Ford for my Boss. One came in a week later, the other came in today. Yep, a four month wait. The good news was I waited over the winter.
So it looks like the Ford parts system again has our...
You might want to switch back to the diff oil the car came with. Ford runs 75w-85 diff oil in the FP Shelby's because it generates less heat under high load than heavier oils and it lubricates at least as well or better. It's a modern...
I have a 22 Ft. ATC with just a few options in the interior, and I feel like there is nothing behind me. I used to run a 26ft Steel Discovery trailer all over the US with a 5.7 Hemi Ram so I would have to believe an aluminum 26 ft. ATC or...
Check out my channel on You Tube 21 Car Productions for new technical content, including modifications, maintenance and track ready tips to keep your Mustangs going fast on Track. The usual in car and front windscreen videos will keep coming but...
Well, it has been awhile since I posted. Car is almost ready for the season. Making the move to coil-over front suspension with Vorshlag rear height adjuster setup. Rebuilt axle housing, Moser axles, 3.31s, and a whiteline setup will be coming...
Arch, my father-in-law, his response to a drop in the market - "they just put stocks on sale". It also helps when you can just let your investments ride, don't panic. And start young! (see full post)
If anyone thinks ovals are easy its because they have never tried it. You are at the limit of traction most of the time. No one gives you a corner just because you stuck a nose inside. There are no long straights to take a break. Even when a...
