Man, I wish. I found out this week that the tuner won't be able to get the car on the rollers until mid april
thanks! I am hoping it's quick - will be very upset if it's not. ha Hopefully we'll know in a couple months!

Hey Kevin, did you media blast the roll cage tubes to prep for the Steel-It? Does the Steel-It require a primer coat, or direct to metal?

No primer coat - bare metal everywhere I could. If over original paint/primer, I roughed it up with the toughest scotchbrite pad I could.
For the cage, I just scrubbed it down real road with a scotchbrite pad and then cleaned with acetone. Worked great so far - no chips on the cage!

I’ve used steel it in plant service work for decades.
Covers nice and is very durable.
Not much prep needed.
Never thought of using in race car stuff though….good call.

The sim has been such a good investment. I was telling Tony - I've spent the last year driving GT3 and GT4 cars with all the traction control turned off to really dial in my reflexes and smooth out my inputs. It's really helped improve my confidence and should help me be more comfortable in the car once I get back on track

Electrically triggered - can put buttons to trigger any where - only two wires. Super easy install and this foam won't corrode your interior/engine bay and ruin everything if you need to deploy.
