2020 GT350R front Knuckles on regular S550

Looked and I cant find a straight answer. I have Wilwood racing brakes and they give the same part number for the kit for regular S550 and 2020 GT350R, can I assume they fit?

It's for a race car.

thanks!

I think so, the caliper/rotor interface for the 2020R did not change. The geometry changes were elsewhere around the steering arm and maybe the lower mounts from what I've seen online. I'm not sure if the lateral arm and toe link changed for those, Might be worth confirming if you are using stock arms.

The GT350 brake calipers are radial mount calipers with 230mm mounting centers and M14x2 caliper bolts. That's the spacing and bolt size that the GT350 knuckle comes with and it's the same for all GT350's including the 2020 R. The "regular" GT uses an axial mount caliper of unknown dimensions. The point is that even if the Wilwood caliper sits in the same place, there has to be two different adapters to fit the two different knuckles. An adapter for one will not fit the other.

Thanks for the great info!
So the spacing on the wilwood is 180mm. Why eould the says the kit fits 2020 GT350R?!?

Maybe there's an flat plate adapter plate that takes 230 spacing down to 180. The adapter for the Mustang GT is an "L" shape as shown in this picture and it won't fit a GT350 knuckle.

This is the GT350 knuckle with the caliper in the background, with a side view of the mounting bosses for the caliper and the matching faces on the caliper itself. As you can see, there's no place to bolt on the adapter in the picture from Wilwood. (The torque wrench hanging off a hub mounting bolt is optional):

I can't explain how Wilwood could have made an error on this scale, so it's possible that if you order brakes for a GT350 it comes with an adapter that works. Certainly, using the GT350 knuckles make a lot sense on a race car - they're built a lot more rigid than the regular GT ones and they use a hub borrowed from an SUV that's also much stiffer than the spindle on the regular GT. Stiffer overall means better handling and no brake pad knockback.

I agree, and the call verified AND called me back to tell me he had confirmed it fits. NO way its possible without the proper adapter.

I'm just gonna go with the Mach 1 knuckles that are supposed to be similar in design to the GT350 without the radial mount meaning my brakes would still fit and using the stronger hub/bearing design. Will let you know how it goes.

Interested if you can use the GT350 front hubs on the regular S550 as well and what it would take. I'm guessing the wheel hubs of the GT350 are stronger.

I used the Hubs from a 2022 Mach1 magneride. Hub design is the same as the GT350 except the Knuckle is in metal vs Alu. A little heavier, BUT it's basically a bolt on with the ABS sensors.
Did it this weekend:
