Ok cool. I just finished my MGW shifter last night and I plan on starting the springs today.I did not.
That shifter is amazing! Very solid piece (as to be expected from MGW). Makes the car even more fun to drive!!

Just a guess here but. Since many sensors “rezero” when powered up. Is it safe to say the ride height sensors do the same. Load, Fuel and passengers change. Makes sense to have a adaptive system which senses the change. Why not then the change from a spring change?.
Regardless of what the manuals state, and I'm not saying you shouldn't reset the sensors, the Ford Performance engineer responsible for the springs told me it's not necessary so I'm not worrying about it.
