S550 EVAP canister removal

I need to free up some space for a new trans/diff cooler under the spare tire well on my 2016 S550 GT. Could someone help me understand what all I need to address when removing the canister? If I understand correctly I can block off the EVAP solenoid in the engine bay. The tank should be vented from the passenger side connection coming off of the top of the tank using a check valve with flow going into the tank. Any recommendations on the check valve type? What other lines can I cap off or need to vent? Thank you for the help.
