Cones - not just for ice cream
2011 shop manual shows 41 lb-ft for the banjo bolts on the 4-pot Brembo, so the same for the 6-pot sounds reasonable. Manual says to use new copper washers.

Started doing my swap today, however it looks like my Russell stainless lines are not going to work. They look very specific for the S197 calipers.
What stainless lines do I need to order for this application. S550 correct? Stick with Russell or switch to something better.

Sorry I just saw these posts. The Russels will work with dormant 13940 banjo bolts. See 1/2 way down this page.Goodridge 12367 G-Stop Ss Braided Brake Line Kit https://a.co/d/j2YyRxC. Ordered. Thank you!
I made a torque specs reference Word doc in this thread strait from the repair manual ( second post down) . There are also other torque related posted in that thread.Confirmed the front caliper bolts are 85lbs with blue lock thread.
Rear caliper bolts... same? 85lbs?
Also reading some things about 40lbs on the bango bolts? Thoughts?
The Goodridge lines didn't work?Had to order new Russell lines to make them fit.
It is strange that the Goodrich lines didn't fit. I used the kit for the 2013 Shelby GT500 when I swapped out my 4 piston Brembo set up for the S550 6 piston Brembo's. They fit fine. The rear lines are the same for both set ups. The front have different fittings to fit the calipers.S550 6pot upgrade done. Had to order new Russell lines to make them fit. Going to be trying GLOC 12 front and rear. Going with both the same all around to try and stop the nose dive I was getting on my ST47 and 4 pot
Boy are they HUGE! Seems to fit on my 18" wheels, they just need a spacer.

Nope 100% I was wrong and I fixed the post. Got them mixed up. The Russell lines did not work. The Goodrich gt500 lines worked perfectly! It is strange that the Goodrich lines didn't fit. Also, I have run G-Loc R8, R10, and R12 on the rear with different combinations of R10, R12, and R16 on the front. I have not noticed any difference in brake dive with pad compound changes. The only thing that made a difference in brake dive was suspension changes for me.
Okay, that makes more sense. Either way glad you got it worked out.Nope 100% I was wrong and I fixed the post. Got them mixed up. The Russell lines did not work. The Goodrich gt500 lines worked perfectly!
Just got done installing mine. R6 Pads and Goodridge ss lines. Bought duralast gt500 rotors from autozone. Calipers on rock auto. Everything else came from @OPMustang Tim . He even has spacers for the calipers to center correctly over the rotors.Okay, that makes more sense. Either way glad you got it worked out.

Ditto. I didn't use any shims and my calipers are centered. What shims are needed to center the caliper to the rotor?
I was wrong, thanks for correcting me @captdistractionWhat shims are needed to center the pads to the rotor?
