Hello, Im new here. Im building my Mustang cobra 2003 which I've swapped with a coyote. I have a Gen 1 block and I want to install gt350 heads. Has anyone done this? What would be the benefit of adding these heads?
Am pretty sure you can with the gen2 head gasket. though you might have to use the Voodoo compatible valvetrain setup. I have a ported gen1 on a gen3 block and it outperforms a Voodoo. So they do have a fair bit of compatibility.
Would highly recommend the gen 3 block on any performance build!!
The Voodoo heads are factory CNC'ed and flow more than stock Coyote heads. That being said a set of standard Coyote heads can be modified to flow better than the Voodoo heads.
