Hi All,
I just did a brake fluid flush a couple of weeks back with my motive power bleeder. Pushing 13psi. After I finished, I went for a drive and its having pretty rough upshifts.
Running from 1st - 2nd - 3rd- 4th, all gears have a rough upshift/kick. Feels similar to if you were to do a high rev match when the gear you are shifting to should be at a lower rpm.
I put vacuum on the reservoir (20psi) for 1 minute, then released, reapplied the cap, and pumped about 30 times. Repeated this 5 times. Went for a drive and its still happening. Slightly better, but not by much.
My assumption was, there's air in the clutch line, and its causing the clutch to stay engaged slightly at shifting, causing the grab but then releases. though not so sure. When I shift, Ive been giving it a second for the revs to drop but its still happening regardless.
Anyone have an idea?
