1 old racer
Too blessed to be stressed and old track whore,
Slowly but surly I have been developing a thumping / popping noise in the front end of my mustang when going over small imperfections on the road. Now it has gone from every once in a while to almost all the time. Since I dont use my car as a daily and I haven't done a track day in over 9 months I dont think anything is worn out. The car has just over 30k on the clock with about 15k on the current suspension set up. I am running Ford Performance Track spring, struts, shocks with Steeda adj swaybars and endlinks, and Steeda bumpsteer endlinks with Camber bolts with a camber setting of 1.9 deg. Just checked every nut and bolt on both front and rear and every thing was still to torque specs. The only thing I am leaning toward is the strut top plate. It is stock and I do store the car up in the air for prolong periods while I am doing something under the car . Thoughts????
